NLB Group’s sustainability journey started with the adoption of the Sustainability Programme in 2020, and continued with setting up the NLB Group Sustainability Framework in 2021, which was upgraded into the Sustainability Policy in NLB d.d. and NLB Group in 2023.
The Policy aims to demonstrate our commitment to our sustainability mission. It provides an overview and directions on how NLB Group manages sustainability-related impacts, risks and opportunities in a responsible and efficient manner. The Policy in particular describes our three sustainability pillars, governance framework and reporting practices.
At NLB Group, we are aware of nature-related impacts, risks, and opportunities of our operations. At the same time, we define sustainable operations in a much broader sense: not only as managing our non-financial operations by being an environmentally responsible institution, but by ensuring sustainable relations with our stakeholders.
