NLB Banka Prishtina was formed in 2008 by the merger of NLB Kasabank and NLB New Bank of Kosovo.
Today, NLB Banka Prishtina is a subsidiary bank, a member of the NLB Group, with NLB holding an 82.38% capital stake. It is the third largest bank in Kosovo with a market share of 16%.
Our goal is to offer an end-to-end banking and financial service to our clients on the Kosovo market, facilitating a closer cooperation and strengthening good economic relations between Slovenia and Kosovo.

Meet the Management Board members of NLB Banka Prishtina
Gem Maloku studied in the US and UK and has successfully finished the MBA programme on the IEDC – Bled School of Management. He started his career as an auditor at KPMG-Barents and Deloitte, eventually joining NLB Banka Prishtina in 2008 as Head of Risk Management department. Within the Bank he also served as a Senior Assistant to President of the Management Board responsible for risk management and Chief Risk Officer. He has been a Management Board member since 2020, and the Acting Chairman of the Management Board since August 2024.
Mirsad Haskaj holds a master's degree from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Prishtina. As he started his career in Kasabank, he was quickly promoted to the position of Director of Risk Management department. He has worked on several complex projects and initiatives, such as: the implementation of IFRS 9, automation of Group-wide reporting processes and reporting to the Central Bank of Kosovo as well as credit scoring process digitalisation for quick loans. In addition to his position as a member of the Management Board of NLB Banka Pristina, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Risk Committee of the Kosovo Banking Association.
Ardian Hasa graduated at the Polytechnic University of Tirana and holds a Master's degree from the University of Sheffield. In 2008, he joined Societe Generale Albania and successfully managed several important projects, including the project of replacing the Bank's central IT system and integrating it with other systems. Then he held the position of Quality Control Manager, Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Deputy General Manager / COO of Societe Generale Albania. With the arrival of OTP Bank, he was appointed as a Management Board Member and Chief Operating Officer. As COO and Management Board member of NLB Banka Prishtina, he is responsible for strategy and business plan implementation.
