History and Business Activity

The beginnings of NLB Skladi, d.o.o. date back to 2004. The company's core business is the management of investment funds and financial instruments.

Mutual funds are developed and managed as savings products in securities to enable clients to achieve their long-term financial goals. They also manage assets from personal investors (both retail and corporate) with higher savings.

NLB Skladi is a subsidiary member of the NLB Group, with NLB holding a 100% equity stake and it is one of the largest management companies in Slovenia in terms of assets under management.

We are a proud winner of the Best Asset Management Company award over a ten-year period.

The goal of NLB Skladi is to become one of the leading providers of these products on the Slovenian market and SEE market. This will be achieved through the continuous development of high-quality and competitively priced products, top quality service and constant pursuit of good practices and ethical and professional standards in the field of asset management.

Luka Podlogar
Luka Podlogar Chairman of the Management Board

Luka Podlogar is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana, and holds an MBA from the IESE Business School in Barcelona. He has accumulated 15 years of management experience at home and abroad, including as an investment banker at Citygroup in London. In 2010, he joined the KD Group as Assistant Executive Director, primarily responsible for corporate development. Until 2022, he was a member and chairman of the Management Board of Generali Investments. He took over the management of NLB Skladi in 2023.

Blaž Bračič is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana, and he also received the Prešeren Award for his diploma thesis. He joined NLB Skladi in 2005 working in the field of financial analysis and risk control. Between 2006 and 2018, he held management positions in the Marketing and Sales Department. He was appointed a member of the company's Management Board in 2018.
